Anima – August Return to Family (C1081-Chibi)!

<08-08-2016> See Chibi when she was rescued and after adopted! Thanks Mauro! C1081-Chibi (F) was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Patrícia reporting that C1081-Chibi, a two months old kitten, was found in Estrada do Repouso the night before. Her eyes were inflamed, especially the left one, he had upper respiratory problems, nasal discharge, apathy, fever, was skinny, dehydrated and very dirty with a lot of fleas. Chibi was adopted by Mauro on 24th December 2015! She stayed with us for 17 days and was returned to the family today! During the first year of adoption every 15 days accommodation in Anima is free! Anima – July Return to family (C1239 to C1243)!

<30-07-2016> 1239-Handsome (M, de-sexed), C1240-B Loi (F), C1241-Playful (F), C1242-Fei Mui (F, de-sexed) and C1243-Pineapple (M, de-sexed) were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Lou informing that she wanted to abandon her nine cats. That was not the first time she tried to do that. Last time the daughter didn’t authorize. She decided to abandon the five most active cats promising to find a good home for the remaining. C1239-Handsome, C1240-B Loi, C1241-Playful, C1242-Fei Mui and C1243-Pineapple were sent to us. Today they were collected back by Ms. Lou and her daughter as the daughter was against the decision of abandoning them! Please help us to help them! Never abandon you pet! Anima – June Return to family (1753-Lavinea)!

1753-Lavinea (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Célia Bras reporting that a dog was found in the Dog Garden of Freguesia de Nossa Senhora de Fátima without a leash and nobody near her. Anima checked Lavinia and she had a microchip! We have informed IACM and IACM contacted the owner that came to collect her back on 20th June 2016! An old family member had open the door and the dog escaped, this was the explanation advanced by the owner! Please help us to help them! Never abandon you pet! Anima – May Return to Family (SPP1484-Daxon)!

See Daxon when he was rescued and after adopted! Thanks Giulian! SPP1484-Daxon and SPP1483-Dax were under Anima Special Protection Program on 26th June 2015, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng reporting that two puppies (on the time around 2.5 months old) were found sick somewhere in Coloane! Daxon was adopted by Giulian on 10th August 2015. He stayed with us for 11 days and was returned to the family today! Very good job Giulian and family! Please Adopt and Never buy! Anima – May Return to Family (1625-Wallace)!

See Wallace now and Wallace after the rescue and when was adopted! 1625-Wallace was returned to the family after being accommodated in Anima for four days, since 29th April 2016. 1625-Wallace was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Rescue and new SPP dogs (SPP1689 and SPP1690)!

SPP1689-Ear (around 6 years old) and SPP1690-Ceci (around 3 years old) are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). They were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Wu  reporting that SPP1689-Ear and SPP1690-Ceci were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, both needing to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April, 2014. SPP1689-Ear and SPP1690-Ceci were spayed today and they were returned to Ms. Wu's house after the surgery. SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel, both around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and both of them needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is an exception to our Special Protection Program as this program is design only for homeless animals and only was accepted because of the poor financial capabilities of the owner! Anima – March Return to Family (C1139-Shaw)!

C1139-Shaw was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2016 after a call from Mr. Cheang reporting that he rescued C1139-Shaw on Rua do Gamboa and C1139-Shaw could not walk properly. C1139-Shaw was delivered by Anima to a clinic immediately. The owner came to Anima referring that  C1139-Shaw was missing since Saturday night, and she saw our post of Shaw’s rescue on Facebook. She showed us that she was really the owner of Shaw! She also said that the screen window in her house was broken with a gap recently, and C1139-Shaw sometimes went out from the gap for a walk for a short while. The owner promised that she will fix the screen window and Shaw will visit a vet for further medical treatment as well as de-sex surgery. Please ensure a safe environment for your pets!
