July Rescue and Return to the Mother Nature (B073-Bubu)!

<13-07-2017> B073-Bubu, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a staff of Macau Polytechnic Institute, Chan, found a bird unable to fly . B073-Bubu was sent to a clinic for consultation and  was able to fly. Thanks Ms. Gina and Chan! Bubu was released! Fly free my friend! Anima–July Return to the Mother Nature (B072-Sunny)!

<08-07-2017> B072-Sunny, on the time around few days old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd July 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a baby bird was found outside our main entrance with a paper bag. B072-Sunny has been staying in a clinic for force feeding. We were informed by the clinic that Sunny is able to eat and fly now. Sunny was released in the trail near Anima! Fly free my friend! Anima–May Return (C1331-Saxa)!

<25-05-2017> C1331-Saxa (F), with an estimated age of four months old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2016, after a call from Mr. Cheang reporting that he found a kitten in the stair of his building near Rua Sul do Patane. He asked if we could collect Saxa as his wife was afraid of cats. Saxa was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was staying with us up to 2nd April 2017, when she was adopted. The adopter returned her to us on 25th May 2017, referring that she was aggressive and seems on heat. Saxa was send to a clinic for observation as she was supposed to be properly spayed! May Return to the Mother Nature (B066 and B068)!

<23-05-2017> See them when we rescue and now when they were put free! B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny, were rescued by Anima on 6th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chio, reporting that there were two baby birds, B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny, near A-Ma Cultural Village, and they were unable to fly. B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny were sent to a clinic for consultation and stayed hospitalized free of charge. B068-Kuku, was rescued by Anima on the 14th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheang, informing that a baby bird, B068-Kuku, was found in Rua de Marques de Oliveira. She asked us to help. B068-Kuku was sent to a clinic for consultation. Skittles and Kuku were released after recovery on 23rd May 2017 in the trail near Anima! Fly free my friends! May Abandonment and Return (C332, C334 and C609)!

<28-05-2017> C332-Basha, C334-Hoover and C609-Grita, were rescued by Anima on 9th April 2012, 11th April 2012 and 19th October 2013, respectively, and adopted on 20th May 2012 (Basha and Hoover) and 17th January 2014 (Grita) by the same adopter. The first two were rescued through Michele and the third one was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ao. They are now sending back to Anima as the adopter informed us that her daughter's asthma was becoming stronger and she was told by her doctor to give them away. They were brought to Anima today and checked by our vet. They were all neutered and had received the annual vaccination. They are staying in C22 for few days for adaptation to the new environment and calm down. We disagree with this abandonment. These cats will have a lot of difficulties to adapt to an environment full of cats,...

Anima – May Abandonment and Rescue (1629-Keira)!

<18-05-2017> 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima on 6th January after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. On 12th January 2016, she gave birth to eight puppies, 1629-Keira, 1630-Kole, 1631-Kylee, 1632-Skye, 1633-Stammi, 1634-Sorrel, 1635-Bonzel and 1636-Bliss, four males and four females. 1629-Keira was adopted on 12th January 2016 and after abandoned in the kennel. The owner informed us that his landlord does not allow him to have dogs at home. He placed Keira in a pet shop and as this was very expensive he contacted us. We asked him to put Keira in kennel first as we will collect her as soon as we find a way to invent a space. We collected Keira today. She is staying in V0 during night time and is being socialized in Pen 29 during day time ! We are completely full! Never Abandon...

Anima – May Rescue and Return (SPP1407-B Zhai)!

<06-05-2017> SPP1407-B Zhai (M), three years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, and he lives in a site somewhere in Taipa. On 16th September 2016, B Zhai came to Anima as he got hurt on his back by hot water two weeks before. B Zhai was brought to Anima for treatment immediately. After treatment he was released on 16th October 2016. Now, B Zhai was rescued again after a call from Ms. Gina informing that B Zhai was limping. We was brought to Anima and was ok, only minor skin problems were found on his back. He returned to his place after medicated. Thanks Ms. Gina! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima- May Rescue and Return (SPP1299, SPP1876)!

<05/05/2017> SPP1299-Xiao Xiao, was rescued by Anima on 6th September 2014, after a call from Ms. Peng. On 5th February 2005, Xiao Xiao was spayed to avoid more pregnancies. Now, SPP1299-Xiao Xiao, was rescued by Anima on 5th May 2017, together with SPP1876-Blacky, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), after a call from Peng, reporting that they were not eating in the last two days. They were brought to Anima for consultation, did a blood test and the result showed that they have tick fever. Medication was prescribed and SPP1299-Xiao Xiao and SPP1876-Blacky were returned to their place and Ms. Peng will be responsible for giving the medication everyday. Thanks Ms. Peng! Anima–May Return and Abandonment (C812-Phoebe)!

<03-05-2017> C812-Phoebe (F), C813-Perry and C814-Paddy were found on 17th October 2014 at Av. do Oceano. Their mother has passed away. Phoebe was adopted on 9th November 2014! The adopter brought C812-Phoebe to our dog shelter this morning, claiming that  because of her divorce nobody is able to take care of C812-Phoebe anymore. Phoebe is now six years and eight months old! C812-Phoebe was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She is staying in C11 temporarily to adapt to the new environment as she is very scared. Anima–April Rescue and Return (B063-Jape)!

<13/14-04-2017> B063-Jape, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a bird was found near the garbage bin outside Anima and seemed not capable to fly. Next day we saw that he was already capable to fly and he was put free and safe near the trail around Anima.
