Anima–February Return and Abandonment (C103-Mina)!

<28-02-2017> C103-Mina (F) was one of our cats that has lived in Anima for the longest time. Mina was adopted on 5th March 2016. However, according to the adopter she never adapted to her home. It seems very strange as the cats are animals that easily adapt to any house after one or two weeks! She is staying with us again now. An adoption is a serious decision! Please do it with responsibility! Please adopt and never buy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–February Abandonment and Return (1843-Furby)!

<25-02-2017> 1843-Furby (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st February 2017, when he was around two months old, after a call from Mr. Lok reporting that a puppy was found alone hiding under a motorcycle near the Mercado Municipal da Taipa. Our shelter was full but we had no choice than to keep him as Furby was too young to survive by himself on the street. He was full of fleas and after quarantine was going to be socialized with other puppies. Furby was adopted on 7th February 2017. However, we were informed by the adopter that they wanted to return Furby as he ate stool and he destroyed everything in her apartment. Furby is now staying with us again. Anima–Abandonment and Return (C1296-Cheese)!

<15-02-2017> C1296-Cheese (F), was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2016 at 6:30pm, when she was around two weeks old, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was found in Guia Municipal Park without the mother beside. Cheese had upper respiratory infection and dehydration. She was fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as she needed milk feeding. Cheese was adopted on 9th February 2017. We were informed by the adopter that all the family member has been getting sick since she adopted cheese. Her elder sons were vomiting with diarrhea, and her younger son has an allergic reaction. Anima–Abandonment and Return (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<08-02-2017> SPPC1254-Carrick (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele, when he was around two months old, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he had ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our staff Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was returned to his former place on 6th August 2016 and backed to Anima on 23rd August 2016 for adoption. Carrick was adopted on 18th September 2016. We were informed by the adopter today that her parents got sick and she needs to leave Macau for one year. She couldn’t find anyone to take care of Carrick for her. Carrick is staying with us again. An adoption is a serious decision! Please do it with responsibility! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–Rescued and Returned to Nature (B061-Cuckoo)!

<03-02-2017> B061-Cuckoo was rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from our cat supervisor, Ms. Connie, reporting that a bird was found unable to fly outside the entrance of Cat’s Paradise. Cuckoo was checked by our vet. We were happy as Cuckoo was capable to fly and as so he was released! Thanks Ms. Connie! Fly free my friend! Anima–January Abandonment and Return (1661-Jenson)!

<17-01-2017> 1661-Jenson (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2016, with an estimated age of four months old, after a call from a security guard of a company somewhere in Coloane, reporting that a puppy, 1661-Jenson, was trapped in the branches inside the company and Jenson had a collar and leash on. According to the guard, 1661-Jenson was almost hit by a truck. For some unknown reason, Jenson keeps biting himself when he gets excited. And because of that, it was difficult for us to find a family for him. Jenson was adopted on 31st December 2016. We were informed by the adopter few days ago that Jenson destroyed several materials in his house and he is aggressive to everyone when they tried to stop him from chewing or destroying the things in house. Anima–Return and Abandonment (C854-Macaron)!

<27-12-2016> C854-Macaron (M) was born in Anima with C852-Scone and C853-Tiramisu on 3rd December 2014. The mother, C818-Kiko,  was rescued already pregnant with other cats at Rua Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta on 18th October 2014. Macaron was adopted on 30th January 2015. However, he was returned today as the adopter said their new born baby has an allergy. Macaron is staying in our Cat Paradise now. Never abandon your pet! Abandon a pet is cruelty! Anima–Return and Abandonment (1502-Saskia)!

<19-12-2016> 1502-Saskia (F), with an estimated age of six years old now, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2015, after a call from Ms. Zheng reporting that a dog was found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos (Near Bridge 16). Saskia had difficulties to move. 1502-Saskia was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Rays. The result showed she had not a fracture but a hernia. She would stay with us forever unless adopted as she was not in condition to be released! Saskia was adopted on 16th December 2016. However, she was returned today as the adopter said his daughter has an allergy. There is a probation period for all animals and adopters of 15 days! Anima–Return From Foster Family (C355-Salsa)!

<13-12-2016> C355-Salsa (F), with an estimated age of four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 9th June 2012, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that she heard some cats meowing in a car park near Fortuna Hotel. Four kittens, C355-Salsa, C356-Twain, C357-Oregon and C358- Paprika were found inside a car engine and they were all brought to Anima. Salsa was fostered by Mr. Jefferson on 13th November 2016. She was returned today as Mr. Jefferson is going on vacation. He will foster Salsa again when he comes back. Thanks Mr. Jefferson! Please adopt and foster, don’t buy! Anima-Return and Abandonment (SPPC1293, SPPC1294)!

<11-12-2016> SPPC1292-Ava (F), SPPC1293-Homer (M) and SPPC1294-Pigeon (F), were rescued by Anima through Michele with an estimated age of five months old, on 24th September 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Ava had upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. She was sneezing, the right eye lid was reddish and inflamed. She was under medication. Homer and Pigeon were healthy and stayed with us for adoption. Homer and Pigeon were adopted on 1st December 2016. However, they were returned today as the adopter said they were always fighting with each other, especially during midnight, which caused a lot of noise and their neighbours were complaining.
