<29-11-2020> C2172-Matteo (M), aged one and a half years old by the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on 29th July 2019 from Macau Kennel, after receiving a call from a veterinary doctor reporting that I.A.M. had no more space to keep him. Matteo was fostered by Mr. Xue on 11th July 2020. Today, he was returned to our shelter. Thank you for the provided foster care, Mr. Xue! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-October Return and Rescue (1502-Saskia)!

<21-10-2020> 1502-Saskia (F), a dog around nine years old, was originally rescued by Anima on 21st July 2015, when she was four years old, being found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos. She would recover and was adopted on 16th December 2016. Sadly, she was returned to our shelter on 19th December 2016, as the adopter claimed his daughter had an allergy. On 26th January 2017, she would be adopted once again, by a different adopter. Recently, in the beginning of this month, we received a call from Saskia adopter's mother claiming that Saskia has behaviour problems, bites things at home, including furniture, and even wounded herself. They claimed to have taken Saskia to a clinic and an animal trainer already, without improvements. We informed that returning Saskia to a shelter wouldn’t, unfortunately, minimize the issue. Anima-October Rescue (2308-Kenji)!

<17-10-2020> 2308-Kenji (M), a Bichon Frisé around seven years old, was rescued by Anima today, following a message from Ms. Septi on Facebook reporting to have found a dog in A-Ma Temple last night. A friend of Ms. Septi took care of Kenji temporarily. No microchip was detected and, given the lack of options, we have welcomed him at our Dogs' Shelter. We hope Kenji finds an adopter soon! Ms. Carla reported that there was a female who seems to be pregnant and need help. Our Rescue Team caught SPPC2388-Curry and she was directly brought to a clinic. <11-09-2020> SPPC2386-Pepper (M), around three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s responsibility at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. Ms. Carla reported that there was a grey male cat who seems to be in pain from all the bites of flees and parasites in his fur at her workplace. Our Rescue Team caught SPPC2386-Pepper and he was directly brought to a clinic. After consultation, SPPC2386-Pepper was dewormed, defleaed, castrated and stayed in the clinic until recover. Return (C2359,C2363-C2367)!

<10-08-2020> C2359-Cici gave birth on 3rd July 2020, to five kittens, C2363-Cedar, C2364-Cocoa, C2365-Clove, C2366-Cyan and C2367-Crane. Due to the lack of milk from their mother, C2359-Cici, they had to stay under Ms. Elisa’s temporary foster care. For this last month, Ms. Elisa has generously taken care of the whole family while the five kittens have grown healthy and they are ready to come back to our Cats’ Paradise today. We are very grateful for your kindness, Ms. Elisa! C2363-Cedar, C2364-Cocoa, C2365-Clove, C2366-Cyan and C2367-Crane are now looking for a new forever home!
