<22-02-2017> SPPC1429-Cadmus (M), with an estimated age of five years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 22nd February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Cadmus was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has severe skin problem and hair loss on the back and is staying with us for castration now. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<10-02-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), with an estimated age of two years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight last night in a site of Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area. <05-02-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), with an estimated age of three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 last night. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection. He is fostered temporarily by Michele as he needs medication. Thanks Michele and Mr. Daniel! Violet was found getting skinny with bad smell from her mouth. She has gingivitis and fleas infection. She was drooling, and was bleeding when we were checking the mouth. Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1837-Coconut)!

<07-01-2017> SPP1837-Coconut (F), with an estimated age of five months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 7th January 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found an injured puppy, in a site of Coloane, during the daily feeding. According to a volunteer, Coconut has an owner but the owner doesn’t care much of her. Coconut got ran over by a car two days ago. She couldn’t stand, her left thigh was swollen and she was in pain. She was sent to a clinic for x-ray immediately. The report showed that the hip and the left femur got a fracture. But no surgery needed as she could heal herself later. Coconut is staying with us  now. Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet!
