July Rescue and New SPP (SPPC1246-Old Maddie)!

<28-07-2016> SPPC1246-Old Maddie (F), around ten years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 28th July 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Old Maddie was getting slimmer and she refused to eat recently. She was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. She has gingivitis, her gums were inflamed and reddish. Some part of her hair was missing, her ears were dirty also. She is staying with us under close observation and medication until recover. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima – Temporary accommodation (C1081-Chibi)!

<22-07-2016> C1081-Chibi (F) was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Patrícia reporting that C1081-Chibi, a two months old kitten, was found in Estrada do Repouso the night before. Her eyes were inflamed, especially the left one, he had upper respiratory problems, nasal discharge, apathy, fever, was skinny, dehydrated and very dirty with a lot of fleas. Chibi was adopted by Mauro on 24th December 2015! Now she came temporarily for 17 days as the family is going out! During the first year of adoption every 15 days accommodation in Anima is free! Anima – June Rescue (SPPC1160-Velvet)!

SPPC1160-Velvet (F), around two years old, that was under our Special Protection Program from 14th April 2016,  was brought to Anima by Michele on 28th June 2016, after a call from her reporting that Velvet was found severely dehydrated and apathetic. She has Gingivitis and the gums were inflamed. Her right front limb was limping as well, showing pain when being touched. Velvet is staying in Anima under IV dripping now. Thanks Ms. Michele! Anima – May Rescue (SPPC1194, SPPC1195)!

SPPC1194-Glenda (F), around ten months old, with SPPC1195-Dessa (F), around two years old, were rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th May 2016, after a call  reporting that Glenda was found pregnant and Dessa needed to be de-sexed. They are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). Glenda is staying with us to give birth. Dessa will be returned to her place after de-sex and she will be taken care by Michele. Anima – May Rescue (SPPC1193-Paddy II)!

SPPC1193-Paddy II (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 17th May 2016, after a call from her reporting that his mouth smelled bad and seemed painful to eat dry food. He is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). We had to sedate to check him up as he was being grumpy when we touched his mouth. He got very reddish gums with tartar in the premolar and molar teeth. He needs dental scaling ASAP. The mandibular lymph nodes were swollen also. He had fleas all over his body. May Temporary Accommodation (SPP1484-Daxon) !

SPP1484-Daxon and SPP1483-Dax were under Anima Special Protection Program from 26th June 2015, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng reporting that two puppies (on the time around 2.5 months old) were found sick somewhere in Coloane! Temporary Accommodation (1625-Wallace)!

See Wallace now and when he was rescued! 1625-Wallace adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016 is now accommodated in Anima for three days until the 1st of May. He is staying in A7 now. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Wallace was adopted by Mr. Carneiro on 13th February 2016! Thanks Mr. Mário! New Cats rescued under SPP (SPPC1179 to SPPC1183)!

Three kittens, SPPC1179-Dabria, SPPC1180-Dada and SPPC1181-Davian, all around one month old, and two male cats, SPPC1182-Dayton, around two years old, and SPPC1183-Fatty, around six years old, were rescued by Anima on 29th April 2016, through Michele, and are now under our Special Protection Program. They live somewhere in Taipa and Michele is responsible for them. They were checked and dewormed. SPPC1179-Dabria, SPP1180-Dada and SPPC1181-Davian have an infection in the eyes and Michele will take care of them. SPPC1182-Dayton has cat flu and will stay in Anima B14 area, temporarily for the treatment. SPPC1183-Fatty received the first vaccination today. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (SPP1710-Mui Chui II)!

SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. Mui Chui II is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). An ultrasound showed that the fetus are already approx. seven weeks old. So we decided for keeping the puppies!
