Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1152-Buffy)!

SPPC1152-Buffy, around three years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele and is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1152-Buffy lives somewhere in Taipa and Michele is responsible for him in the area. She found him very weak and both eyes could barely open yesterday. She caught him this morning and brought to Anima. He also has yellowish discharge and he is anemic, skinny and probably with fat liver. Heart and lungs were clear. Severely dehydrated and with hypothermia. He was not moving and refuses to eat. The prognosis is poor! He is now in V6 under IV dripping, under  close observation! Thanks Michele! Anima – April Temporary Accommodation (1696-Woody II)!

1696-Woody II was exceptionally accommodated in Anima (A7) temporarily for 138 days as the owner Mr. Nuno Ferreira had go unexpectedly back Portugal. 1696-Woody II will stay with us until all the process of transfer to Portugal is finished. This is a job we do freely to our members as otherwise we may have some more abandonments. People interested in this facility must pay in advance all the estimated costs that Anima will incur with that transfer! Anima – March Rescue (SPP1691-Tiger II)!

SPP1691-TigerII, around four years old, is under our Special Protection Program now. He is living in a construction site and our rescue team is responsible for him now in the area. He was found not eating, getting skinny for the past few days, and being nauseous today. SPP1691-Tiger II was sent to a clinic for consultation and ran a tick fever test. March Accommodation of cat under SPP(SPPC1079-Patton)!

SPPC1079-Patton was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that SPP1079-Patton was found swollen with a wound on the right cheek. Michele, our volunteer of Anima and responsible for the SPP of cats, brought him to Anima. A hole was found in his mouth, the ears are dirty and the gums were red and inflamed. According to Michele, Patton was probably bitten by the dogs in the area as there were several dogs attacking cats recently. Patton is staying with us for medical treatment. Thanks Michele! February Rescue and New SPP Cats (SPPC1135-William)!

SPPC1135-William, around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that SPPC1135-William was found sick somewhere in Taipa. According to Michele, William was sneezing lately with fleas infested. SPPC1135-William was diagnosed with flea infection.
