<24-02-2017> SPPC1431-Jaxson (M), with an estimated age of five years old, together with SPPC1432-Ginger III (F), with an estimated age of three years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), were rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 24th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Jaxson was castrated by our vet today and is staying in our Cat’s Paradise. Ginger III has severe Stomatitis and she is under medication and observation in our vet area. Thanks Michele! Anima–Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1429-Cadmus)!

Rescue and Temporary Accommodation (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<20-02-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), that was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) when rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight in a site of Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area. Hugo was supposed to remove the stitches today, but we found the wound is not healed yet. So, he is staying with us until he recovers. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Temporary Accomodation (SPP1123-Ruby)

<10/02/2017> SPP1123-Ruby (Maly) is now accommodated in Anima until 13th February 2017. Ruby was one dog under our S.P. Program that was adopted. This facility is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided we have space and the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members. For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership fees in...

Anima-Temporary Accommodation (C965-Mika)!

<06-02-2017> C965-Mika (F), was rescued by Anima on 8th June 2015, when she was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that three kittens and the mother were found in his place at Estrada do Cemiterio (Santo António e São Lázaro Social Service Centre). Two kittens, C952-Denzel and C956-Meijo, were rescued by Anima few days before Mika. The mother, Mika, was adopted by Ms. Elizabete on 22nd December 2015. Now she came back for a temporary accommodation up to 15th March 2017! If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge during the first year of adoption, provided we have space. Never abandon your pet!
