<26-01-2017> 1534-Sibala (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th September 2015, with an estimated age of five years old, after a call from Mr. Lung reporting that he couldn’t take care of his dog anymore as his daughter just had a new born baby . Happily the family changed its mind and collected him back on 10th October 2015. Now he came back for a temporary accommodation up to 2nd February 2017! If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge during the first year of adoption, provided we have space. Never abandon your pet! Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1837-Coconut)!

<07-01-2017> SPP1837-Coconut (F), with an estimated age of five months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 7th January 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found an injured puppy, in a site of Coloane, during the daily feeding. According to a volunteer, Coconut has an owner but the owner doesn’t care much of her. Coconut got ran over by a car two days ago. She couldn’t stand, her left thigh was swollen and she was in pain. She was sent to a clinic for x-ray immediately. The report showed that the hip and the left femur got a fracture. But no surgery needed as she could heal herself later. Coconut is staying with us  now. Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! <30-12-2016> 1322-Jasper (M), was rescued by Anima on 14 October 2014, after a call from Ms. Chan informing that SPP1260-Mummy gave birth to nine puppies two months ago in a construction site at Ilha Verde. Jasper was adopted by Mr. Joao Miguel on 2nd November 2014. Now he is staying with us for eight days until 6th January 2017. Anima–Temporary Accommodation (1625-Wallace)!

<20-12-2016> See Wallace now and when he was rescued! 1625-Wallace, that was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016, is now accommodated in Anima for 14 days until 2nd January 2017. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Wallace was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016! Thanks Mr. Mário! <19-12-2016> Jumpy (former Trileg) was abandoned on 25 January 2012, because who was in charge of him referred that he barked night time! He was adopted by Shibani on July 8, 2012 and lives happy with the family! Jumpy is a very big and friendly black dog that had a leg very damaged when living in a site in Taipa. We had no choice than to cut his leg! Jumpy is now accommodated in Anima for 24 days until 11th January 2017. We are happy to see Jumpy again. Never buy, please adopt! Anima-Temporary Accommodation (1827-Eris)!

<15-12-2016> 1827-Eris, is now accommodated in Anima for 20 days, until 3rd January 2017, by our member Ms. Irene. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership fees...

Anima-December Temporary Accommodation (687-Rex)!

<11-12-2016> 687-Rex is now accommodated in Anima for 15 days, until 25th December, as the family is going on a vacation. Ms. Ng and the family came several times to Anima to walk Rex, before adopting Rex! Rex was adopted by Ms. Ng on 20th June 2015. Rex was one of our well known dogs, friendly with people, puppies and all dogs. He was one of our ambassadors! We are happy to see Rex again. Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1350, SPPC1351)!

<07-12-2016> SPPC1350-Jupiter (M), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1351-Moo (M), with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th December 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Jupiter is staying with us temporarily for castration. Moo was returned to his former place after dewormed. Michele is responsible for them in that area. Anima–Temporary Accommodation (C575-Zhai Zhai)!

<04-12-2016> Zhai Zhai is now accommodated in Anima for 33 days until 5th January 2017. C575-Zhai Zhai (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2013, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a cat was found with one leg hurt, in a site of Macau. Ms. Lam is the volunteer who helps Anima to take care of dogs and cats in a site. Zhai Zhai was sent to a clinic and stayed there for treatment. Anima decided after the recovery that he has no conditions to go back to that area and as so he was welcome to be part of our family. Zhai Zhai was adopted by Mr. Victor on 19th December 2014.
